Set in an abandoned Victorian warehouse, this new writing explored the lives of 200 years of Liverpool immigrants. The evocative space contained 144 pillars reflected perfectly in vast pools of rainwater. The Company combined dance, song and drama to weave the stories.


Olivia’s costumes took on an ethereal quality as if the characters had seeped out of the walls.
























Olivia’s design utilized a selective mix of industrial components including barrels, drums, dustsheets and submerged shipping containers. The American GI guarding the dead soldiers bodies represented by row upon row of Hessian sacks.
